(Greenwood, Ind. - March 24, 2026) - Senior guard
Britton Berrett was tabbed to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.
Closing out his two-year career at Utah Tech this season, the Rigby, Idaho native ranked seventh on the team averaging 5.3 points per game playing in all 34 games for the Trailblazers while making 17 starts.
Berrett ranked sixth on the team with 784 minutes played averaging 23.1 minutes per contest and connected on 43.8 percent (57-130) from the field.
Ranking second on the team hitting 40.4 percent (42-104) from three-point range and 92.3 percent (24-26) from the free throw line, Berrett tallied double digits in six contests led by a career-high 17 points at Santa Clara on Dec. 3.
Berrett played in 57 career games at Utah Tech making 17 starts and scored 256 points, grabbed 104 rebounds and dished out 55 assists.
Berrett holds a 3.8 GPA as a finance major and began his collegiate career in 2022-23 at College of Southern Idaho spending a pair of seasons with the Golden Eagles.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student- athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14, 2026.

Academic Eligibility Criteria:
Academic eligibility minimums: An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
Athletic Requirements:
Basketball student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the total number of institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's total number of games played.
