(St. George - Dec. 30, 2025) – Utah Tech's Abby Olsen and Jocelyn Wright were named to the TopDrawerSoccer Women's College Postseason Top 100 Freshmen, as announced by TDS following the conclusion of the College Cup. 

It's the first time in program history that the Trailblazers have finished the season with multiple student-athletes on the list, recognizing the nation's top 100 freshmen in Division I soccer.

Olsen was tabbed 68th, rising from her spot at 79th in the midseason rankings. A defender from South Weber, Utah, Olsen was named First Team All-WAC and selected to the All-WAC Freshman Team. She played in all 20 matches in 2025, making 18 starts. Olsen totaled two goals, two assists, six points, nine shots and six shots on goal, while helping the Trailblazer defense collect three shutouts. Olsen was named the WAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 23 and Oct. 21. 

After missing out on the midseason rankings, Wright finished the year at 84th. The forward from Herriman, Utah, was the 2025 WAC Freshman of the Year and notched Second Team All-WAC and WAC All-Freshman Team honors. Wright led Utah Tech with six goals, tying for sixth in the WAC. She added an assist for 13 points off 29 shots and 18 shots on goal, while appearing in all 20 matches with 11 starts. Wright scored game-winning goals at Southern Utah (2-1, Sept. 28) and against Abilene Christian (2-0, Oct. 19). 

Utah Tech women's soccer joins the Big Sky Conference on July 1, 2026. The season will mark the Trailblazers' seventh at the Division I level.
