(St. George - Dec. 4, 2025) – Utah Tech women's soccer announced the signing of midfielder Taylor Johnson on Thursday. She is the eighth signee in UT's 2026 signing class.

"We are so excited to add Taylor Johnson to our class of 2026," head coach Lexi Brown said. "Although she was a late addition, we are confident that Taylor is going to have an immediate impact within our program. Taylor is technical, gritty and has an extremely high work rate – all qualities we really value within our program. She's going to be a great fit on the field, in the classroom and within the community. We're so glad she's officially a Trailblazer."

Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, Johnson comes to Utah Tech after a four-year prep career at Shadow Ridge High School. Johnson is a three-time team MVP and earned a white letter. She also played club soccer for Heat Surf ECNL.

"I chose Utah Tech because I felt a strong connection with the soccer program, the players on the team, and the coaching staff. The campus environment seemed like a great fit for me," Johnson said. 

Johnson totaled 17 goals, eight assists and 42 points in her prep career. In her senior season, she tied for the team lead in goals (2), assists (2) and points (6).
