Utah Tech point guard Aric Demings was voted to the all-WAC Freshman Team on Monday as the 2023-24 Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball postseason awards were announced. 

Demings (6-0; Desoto, Texas/Duncanville HS) started in 25 of 30 games played this season and averaged 7.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.2 assist. He shot 38.5 percent (74-of-192) from the floor, which included a 23-of-67 clip (.343) from beyond the arc.
 
The freshman scored in double figures in 10 games, including a pair of 19-point efforts vs. Florida International (12/30) and at UT Arlington (2/24). He also went for 17 points in his Trailblazer debut at Santa Clara (11/8).
 
Demings dished out four or more assists four times, highlighted by a season-high seven dimes on the road at CSUN (12/11). 
 
Utah Tech closed its fourth NCAA Division I campaign with an 11-20 overall record, which included a 7-13 WAC mark and a ninth-place finish in the conference standings.
