(St. George, Utah - Aug. 19, 2026) - The Trailblazers released the 2026-27 men's basketball schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

Coming off a 19-win season in 2025-26, Utah Tech opens the season at New Mexico on Nov. 2 before a quick return home for their home opener against Grace University on Nov. 4.

A stretch of four contests away from home gets underway with an in-state battle at Utah State on Nov. 10 followed by a trip to ACC member Cal on Nov. 14, then it is off to Big Ten opponent Washington on Nov. 19 and wrap up the stretch with a neutral site match up against South Dakota in Sioux Falls on Nov. 22.

Returning home for a Thanksgiving Eve game against Bethesda on Nov. 25, the Trailblazers wrap up November at 2026 NCAA Tournament qualifier Santa Clara on Nov. 28. 

Heading into their first season in the new conference, the Trailblazers will make their Big Sky debut hosting Weber State on Dec. 3 followed by a meeting against Idaho State on Dec. 5.

Four final non-conference games see UT host Justice University (Dec. 10) & Denver (Dec. 14) before heading to California for their final two non-conference contests against UC Riverside (Dec. 18) & Cal State Fullerton (Dec. 20).

The Trailblazers resume Big Sky action on New Year's Eve traveling to Idaho, the 2026 Big Sky tournament champions, for their first Big Sky road contest followed by a Jan. 2 contest at Eastern Washington.

Coming back home to host Portland State, the 2026 Big Sky regular season champions, on Jan. 7, the Trailblazers host four of the next five games at Burns Arena with home contests against Northern Colorado (Jan. 9), Southern Utah (Jan. 16) & Montana (Jan. 18) with a road contest at Northern Arizona in Flagstaff on Jan. 14 mixed in between them.

A trio of road contests take the Trailblazers to Montana State (Jan. 25), Idaho State (Jan. 28) & Weber State (Jan. 30) before coming back for a trio of home contests hosting Eastern Washington (Feb. 4), Idaho (Feb. 6) & Northern Arizona (Feb. 11).

The final five Big Sky regular season contests see the Trailblazers travel to Southern Utah (Feb. 13), Northern Colorado (Feb. 18), Portland State (Feb. 20) & Montana (Feb. 22) and close out the regular season hosting Montana State on March 1.

The 2027 Big Sky Tournament is set for March 5-10 in Boise, Idaho at Idaho Central Arena.
