Utah Tech Athletics announced its full 12-game 2025 football schedule on Monday afternoon. The Trailblazers' 2025 slate features an even split with six home games and six road dates, and includes match-ups against six 2024 NCAA Division I FCS playoff teams. 

Three Trailblazers' four non-conference games will come against Big Sky Conference opponents, beginning with their season opener against FCS power UC Davis inside Greater Zion Stadium on Saturday, August 30.

Utah Tech will open its six-game road schedule one week later with a long drive to Flagstaff to play at Big Sky member and FCS playoff participant Northern Arizona on Saturday, Sept. 6.  

The Trailblazers continue their road swing the following week as they face their third-straight Big Sky and FCS playoff foe when Utah Tech squares off against Idaho on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Moscow. 

Utah Tech then returns home for its non-conference finale against Missouri Valley Football Conference member Northern Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 20. 

The Blazers will kick off their third season of United Athletic Conference play with back-to-back road games, beginning at Austin Peay (Sept. 27), before embarking on their first-ever visit to "The Natural State" to play at Central Arkansas (Oct. 4). 

From there, Utah Tech will spend the next four weeks in St. George and will open a three-game UAC homestand against 2024 FCS playoff participant Tarleton State on Saturday, Oct. 11.
 
Then after their bye week (Oct. 19), the Trailblazers will gear up for their annual "Battle For The Axe" showdown vs. in-state rival Southern Utah (10/25), before wrapping up the homestand against North Alabama (11/1). 

Utah Tech opens its final road swing of the regular season one week later with a date at defending UAC champion and 2024 FCS playoff participant Abilene Christian (11/8), before making the long cross country trek to "The Peach State" for its 2024 road finale at West Georgia (Nov. 15).

Utah Tech will then wrap up the 2025 regular season at Greater Zion Stadium against 2024 FCS playoff participant Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 22.
 
Game times for all 12 games have yet to be determined. Season and single game ticket information for the 2025 season will be announced in the near future. 
 
Utah Tech completed its first full NCAA D-I FCS season in 2024 with a 1-11 record, which included a 1-7 mark in UAC play.
