Utah Tech head women's basketball coach JD Gustin announced on Thursday the signing of Utah County prep standout Merceius Mili, who will join the program for the 2025-26 season.

The 6-1 combo guard/forward enjoyed a breakout junior season last year at Skyridge High School in Lehi, where she averaged 11.6 points per game on 45.1 percent shooting, along with 5.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.8 steals in 12 games. Those numbers helped the senior-to-be at SHS earn second team all-Valley honors, along with all-region honorable mention and team offensive MVP accolades.

Mili scored in double figures in six of those 12 outings, highlighted by a career high 22-point night in a 48-37 home win over Morgan (1/4/24). Mili also collected six rebounds and five steals in that victory over the Trojans.

"Merceius brings our team a different kind of length and athleticism," Coach Gustin said. "That length combined with a terrific first step and smooth shooting stroke is what really gravitated us towards her. She is a terrific addition to our program and we look forward to coaching her."
