The WAC recognized four Trailblazers for their performances during the regular season in the conference's postseason awards on Thursday. Graduate Gracie Knutzen and junior Lacy Fox were named to the All-WAC Second Team and freshmen Adele Faller and Bre Koscielski made the All-WAC Freshman Team. 

It's the third straight year that Knutzen has earned the honor. This season, Knutzen started all 16 games, averaging over 86 minutes per game and playing all 90 minutes in each of Utah Tech's seven conference matches. Knutzen anchored a Trailblazer defense that totaled three shutouts and did so cleanly, staying free of yellow or red cards. 

Fox's eight goals and 18 points tied for the second most in the conference in both categories. In the second match of the season, Fox displayed a hat trick, including the game-winning goal against UNLV. The WAC recognized Fox as its Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 27 for the performance.  At Southern Utah, Fox started the rampage, putting in the ultimate game-winner and first of four UT goals. Fox also contributed two assists this season, helping the Trailblazers earn wins against Westminster and at Tarleton State. 

From the beginning of the season, Faller has made a big impact for the Trailblazers, starting 15 of her 16 appearances and playing 960 minutes. Faller led Utah Tech with four assists including a helper at Weber State and against UNLV while picking up two assists at Southern Utah, including an assist on the game-winning goal, to help the Trailblazers earn the final spot in the WAC Tournament. Defensively, Faller played over 50 minutes in each of UT's three shutouts. 

In the midfield, Koscielski started all 16 games and played over 1,100 minutes this season. Koscielski totaled eight points with three goals and two assists. Koscielski scored her first collegiate goal in the 1-1 draw at Weber State, netted the game-winning goal at Tarleton State and notched her third goal of the season in the rivalry match with SUU. 

Utah Tech opens the WAC Tournament by taking on No. 3 seed Seattle U at 6 p.m. (MT) on Sunday, Nov. 3 in Abilene, Texas. All matches in the tourney will be broadcast on ESPN+.
