The Western Athletic Conference will formally kick off the 2024-25 women's basketball season with the conference's annual WAC Basketball Preview Show this Wednesday morning, October 16.
The show will air and stream live on both the ESPN+ and WAC International (for international viewers) platforms beginning at 9 a.m. (MT). WAC Director of Digital Communication Kendra Sheehan will host the festivities, while Brandi Poole, who is currently an assistant coach for the WNBA's Dallas Wings, will serve as the show's analyst.
Head coaches and student-athletes from all nine WAC schools will participate, with the Trailblazer women's basketball team's session starting at 9:30 a.m. (MT).

JD Gustin, along with redshirt senior forward
Emily Isaacson and sophomore guard
Calyn Dallas will represent the Trailblazers.
In addition to the individual team interview sessions, the official preseason WAC Coaches Poll results will be unveiled, as well as a one-on-one interview with conference interim commissioner Rebekah Ray. College basketball analyst Kelly Burke will close out the show beginning at 11:45 a.m. (MT).

Utah Tech begins fifth season of NCAA Division I play on Monday, Nov. 4, with a matinee match-up vs. Northern New Mexico inside the Burns Arena at 11 a.m. The Trailblazers will open WAC play on the road at UT Arlington on Thursday, Jan. 9.
Season tickets for the 2024-25 Trailblazer women's basketball campaign are currently on sale online at
utahtech.evenue.net/events/WB. Utah Tech has 15 home games on its season docket, including marquee non-conference match-ups against in-state Weber State (Nov. 16), Big XII powerhouse Colorado (Nov. 27), Conference USA member UTEP (Dec. 14), and ACC member Pittsburgh (Dec. 21).
