Trailblazer MBB Announces Completed 2023-24 Schedule

Utah Tech will open the season with a home exhibition on Nov. 1 before facing Santa Clara in the season opener.

(St. George, Utah – Aug. 29, 2023) Utah Tech men's basketball announced its non-conference matchups on Tuesday, with the Trailblazers set to play 12 teams from a variety of geographic locations and conferences.
 
Head coach Jon Judkins' squad opens things up with a home exhibition against Stanton University (Nov. 1) before commencing regular season play on the road at Santa Clara (Nov. 8). The team then travels to Jacksonville, Ala., for a Nov. 11 matchup against Jacksonville State and then heads to Youngstown, Ohio for a multi-team event; Utah Tech is set to face hosts Youngstown State (Nov. 17) and Niagara (Nov. 18).
 
Trailblazer men's basketball then faces Pac-12 opponent Washington State on the road (Nov. 24) and then heads back to the Midwest to face Lindenwood (Nov. 27). After opening conference play with a game at home against Utah Valley (Dec. 2) and on the road at California Baptist (Dec. 6), UT will host Idaho on Dec. 9.
 
Utah Tech will then face CSUN (Dec. 11) in Northridge, Calif., before hosting North Dakota (Dec. 16). After a road contest at Colorado (Dec. 21) and break for the holiday, it's back at home for the final non-conference game against Florida International on Dec. 30.

UT faces WAC opponents for the rest of the season beginning on Jan. 4, heading up north to face Seattle U before hosting Grand Canyon two days later on Jan. 6. After one more home game against Stephen F. Austin on Jan. 11, the Trailblazers will hit the road to play four-consecutive games: Southern Utah (Jan. 18), Utah Valley (Jan. 20), Abilene Christian (Jan. 25) and Tarleton State (Jan. 27).
 
After two straight weekends on the road, it's back home for the next two weekends of WAC competition as UTRGV (Feb. 1), UT Arlington (Feb. 3), Southern Utah (Feb. 8) and California Baptist (Feb. 10) will make the trip to Burns Arena.
 
The Trailblazers then face Grand Canyon for a Feb. 15 matchup before hosting Seattle U on Feb. 17, and again hitting the road to face UT Arlington on Feb. 24 ahead of a contest against Tarleton State in St. George on Feb. 29.
 
After one final home matchup against Abilene Christian on March 2, it's back to the road one last time as Utah Tech will face UTRGV (March 7) and Stephen F. Austin (March 9) in away games to round out the 2023-24 regular season.

Information about the 2024 WAC Basketball Tournament will be made available at a later date.
