Utah Tech Women’s Soccer Announces 2023 Schedule

The season kicks off with a home exhibition on Aug. 10 before the regular season opener at South Dakota on Aug. 17.

(ST. GEORGE, Utah – July 25, 2023) Utah Tech women's soccer finalized its 2023 regular season schedule on Tuesday, with the Trailblazers set to play 19 regular season contests - 10 of which are at home.

After a home exhibition against Eastern Arizona College (Aug. 10, 7 p.m.), the regular season officially commences with a Midwest road trip, as UT faces South Dakota (Aug. 17, 6 p.m.) and Omaha (Aug. 20, 1 p.m.) during the opening weekend of play. Utah Tech's home opener is slated for the following weekend as the Trailblazers welcome Idaho to the Beehive State at 7 p.m. on Aug. 24 before hosting Nevada on Aug. 27 at 1 p.m.
 
After one weekend at home it's back to the road, as head coach Lexi Brown will return to Spokane, Wash., for a multi-team event hosted by Gonzaga; Utah Tech is scheduled to face Montana at 4 p.m. on Aug. 31 before matching up with the hosts at 2 p.m. on Sept. 3.
 
Brown and the Trailblazers will then play six of their next seven games at home, hosting Northern Arizona (Sept. 8, 5 p.m.) and Portland State (Sept. 10, 12 p.m.) before hitting the road to face Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo. (Sept. 14, 7 p.m.). The homestand continues with contests against Idaho State (Sept. 17, 1:30 p.m.), Southern Utah (Sept. 22, 7 p.m.), California Baptist (Sept. 28, 7 p.m.) and Grand Canyon (Oct. 1, 1 p.m.).
 
Utah Tech will then make a trip down south to Texas, facing Stephen F. Austin (Oct. 5, 8 p.m.) and UTRGV (Oct. 8, 11 a.m.). The final set of home games is slated for the middle of October as Tarleton State (Oct. 12, 7 p.m.) and Abilene Christian (Oct. 15, 11 a.m.) are set to visit Greater Zion Stadium for late-season contests.
 
In the regular season's final weekend, UT will face Utah Valley (Oct. 19, 6 p.m.) and Seattle University (Oct. 22, 2 p.m.) on the road.
