The Western Athletic Conference on Thursday announced the 2023 Academic All-WAC honorees for its winter sports seasons, with a total of 456 student-athletes across six sports recognized.
Utah Tech was represented by 25 student-athletes, including 12 in women's indoor track & field, six in women's swimming, four in women's basketball and three in men's basketball.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
