WHAT HEAD COACH MOLLY ROUSE SAID: "This weekend marks another excellent team performance and a strong start to WAC play. Knowing the physical and mental demands of Sunday matches, we anticipated a hard game against UTRGV. It was encouraging to see our team defend tightly to limit chances against, while creating enough quality chances to secure the result. In a tough match up, today's game called for a solid team performance and capitalizing on a special individual moments, which is what we saw. We are fortunate to have a roster full of incredible women who week in and week out are giving us a chance to fully prepare for tough opponents. We are looking forward to our first WAC road weekend and a chance to continue building momentum."
