Trailblazer Swimming Closes 21-22 Regular Season at UNLV Meet

Dixie State closed out the 2021-22 regular season on Saturday with several season PR marks at the UNLV First Chance Invite.

Sophomore Akalia Bostock clocked the Blazers' fastest time in the in the 100-yard fly with a 57.83 in one time trial, while freshman Paulina Sansores posted DSU's top-season mark in the 200 IM with a 2:08.65 in that event time trial. In addition, junior Kyrie Nicolds swam the third-fastest season time in the 100 fly with a 58.41.
 
Dixie State will now prepare for the 2022 Western Athletic Conference Swim and Dive Championships, which will be held on Feb. 23-26, in Houston, Texas.
