Utah Tech swimming put up solid marks on the national stage over the weekend at the 2022 USA Swimming Toyota U.S. Open at the Greensboro Aquatics Center in Greensboro, N.C.
 
Junior Pia Murray advanced to the finals in two of the three events she competed in, highlighted by a "C" final victory in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:16.61. Murray also placed sixth in the 100 back "B" final at 1:02.60, and swam in the 100 fly prelims (1:02.57).
 
Fellow junior Ginevra Molino competed in the 400 IM and placed third in the "C" final with a time of 4:57.97 (4:57.81 prelim time), while junior Skyler Lyon clocked a 100 breast prelim time of 1:13.56, and sophomore Ally Boynton swam in the 200 back and recorded a prelim time of 2:19.40. 
 
NEXT UP FOR THE TRAILBLAZERS: Utah Tech will return to its 2022-23 meet schedule on Saturday, January 21, with a dual meet at Idaho.
