Dixie State gave up two unanswered goals in the final 12 minutes of play as they dropped a 2-1 decision to San Jose State Saturday afternoon at Greater Zion Stadium.
The Trailblazers took an early lead in the match with the first goal coming at the 13:45 mark from the foot of Midfielder,
Idris Alabi.
Matt Lockwood took the ball down the right-side goal line and fed it to the junior for his first goal of the season and the lone goal for DSU in 2021.
The Spartans late rally started with a goal from junior Jamal Adam in the 78
th minute of the contest, seniors Rudi Castro and Carlos

San Jose State controlled the ball for the majority of the match, possessing it for 62 percent of the contest and leading the Trailblazers in shots 9-3, and shots on goal, 6-2.
