Trailblazers sweep Mills College Friday, 7-0

Dixie State women's tennis bounced back from Wednesday's 7-0 loss on Friday with a 7-0 sweep of its own, cruising past Mills College in Oakland, California.
 
The Trailblazers (7-2) claimed all but five points in the match, sweeping through the doubles and the singles matches. Kyra Harames and Megan Lynch posted a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles, while Hattie Erekson and Juliana Honczaruk duplicated the feat at No. 3 doubles to earn the doubles point. Yolena Carlon and Isabel Heras clinched the doubles sweep with a 6-1 result at the No. 1 spot.
 
Three Dixie State players rolled through singles play without conceding a point, including Harames at No. 2, Lynch at No. 4, and Erekson at No. 6. Carlon claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at the No. 1 position, while Heras posted the same score at No. 3. Elly Lloyd wrapped up the sweep with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 5.
 
The Trailblazers continue their California trip on Saturday against former PacWest foe Holy Names at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (11 a.m. MT) in Oakland.
