At Dixie State: 2017-18 – Played to a team-best 10-4 singles record as a junior … posted a 4-2 mark at No. 1 singles … logged undefeated marks at No. 3 singles (3-0) and No. 4 singles (1-0) … went 7-10 in doubles play all at the No. 1 position … earned All-PacWest Academic honors.
At Mesa Community College: Played two seasons for the Thunderbirds … two-time All-ACCAC honoree and was nationally ranked in both singles (38th) and doubles (20th) play … helped the Thunderbirds to back-to-back conference and region titles, and a third-place finish at the NJCAA National Championships as a freshman.
At Desert Vista High School: Appeared in the state semifinals as senior … won the Tempe All-City tournament at No. 1 singles as a senior … earned a victory at No. 1 doubles at the All-City tournament as junior and sophomore … graduated in May 2015.
Personal: Born in Hermosillo, Mexico … parents are Beto Carlon and Yolanda Leon … also recruited by Southern Utah, Indiana Tech, and La Verne … currently majoring in exercise science.
