Senior
Moises Medina became the Dixie State men's soccer program's all-time leading goal scorer in the Trailblazers' 3-1 victory at Adams State Friday afternoon at the ASU Soccer Field.
The senior struck for two goals in the opening 45 minutes of play, the first came midway through the 21

Medina (6) then added his second record-breaking goal of the day with 33 seconds left in the first half as he tucked home a ball played by
Raul Ruiz into the Grizzlies net for what became the eventual game-winning goal. That game-winner, the 12
th of Medina's four-year career and 30
th-career goal overall, also moved him past Roylance (11) for the top spot on that list.
Adams State (1-11-1/1-9-1 RMAC) spoiled DSU's shutout bid in the 60
th-minute, but the Trailblazers got that goal back just over five minutes later when
Idris Alabi (2) finished a
Logan Beus feed to restore the Blazers' two-goal advantage.
Dixie State (7-7-1/6-5-0 RMAC) outshot ASU 21-12, including a 13-4 edge on goal. Senior goalkeeper
Zach Nielson stopped three Grizzly shots on his way to his seventh win in goal.
Dixie State will now travel to Pueblo for a big RMAC match vs. CSU-Pueblo on Sunday at 12 noon. Â
