Biography

At Dixie State 2017: Was named 2017 PacWest Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and earned first team all-PacWest honors ... started in 10 of 15 matches played in goal and posted a 9-5-0 record ... four of his nine victories on the season came via shutout, including three PacWest shutout results ... finished with a 1.42 GAA and 52 saves overall, while his nine wins in goal was good for second on DSU’s single season wins list ... posted a season-high seven saves three times (vs. Hawai'i Pacific, California Baptist and Fresno Pacific).

At Dixie State 2016: Saw time in six matches with four starts as a freshman in 2016 ... posted a 5-0-0 record with on solo ShO, 16 saves and a 0.26 GAA (1G in 341+ minutes) ... all five wins came in PacWest play and earned her first collegiate win in goal vs. Fresno Pacific (10/1) ... stopped a career-high five shots in a win at Chaminade (10/15) ... was named PacWest Freshman of the Week (10/10) and conference Defender of the Week (10/17).

At Dixie State 2015: Sat out the entire season as a redshirt.

At Northridge High School: Earned three varsity soccer letters as a goalkeeper for the Knights ... was voted team MVP as a senior ... holds team record for career shutouts ... graduated in June 2015.

Personal: Born in Ogden, Utah ... parents are Chad and Amy Nielson and Rachael and David Lark ... favorite team is Manchester United … favorite athlete is David de Gea … currently majoring in criminal justice.

Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because of the overall atmosphere of Dixie is what attracted my initial attention, but truly in the end receiving the option to play for the men’s soccer team sealed the deal.”
