Antelopes get another Ciliento goal in 2-0 win

PHOENIX, ARIZ (October 23) - Dixie State College fell in an attempt to dethrone the NCAA West Region's top squad on Saturday night. Grand Canyon defeated the Red Storm 2-0 in Pacific West Conference action.

Cordero Young put the Lopes on the scoreboard taking a rebound off DSC goalkeeper Tyler Walters (Ogden, UT/Ben Lomand) and depositing the ball into the right side of the net.

An insurance tally came from GCU goals leader Kyle Ciliento beating his defender off an assiting pass from Joao Vieira.

Dixie State falls to 5-8-1 on the year and 4-5-1 in the Pac West. The nationally ranked Antelopes improve to 11-2-1, 9-1-0 PWC.

Conference play continues Saturday, October 30th as Dixie State hosts Chaminade at Hansen Stadium at 4:30pm.
