(Spokane, WA - Aug 27, 2026) – Utah Tech men's soccer drops its lone power conference match of the season, 3-0, to Gonzaga on Thursday night.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs (1-1-1) got off to a sizzling start, scoring on their first shot attempt of the game in just the second minute.
The Zags then added on with a pair of goals in the 16th and 22nd minutes, to stretch the lead to 3-0.
The first scoring chance for the Trailblazers came in the 45th minute when junior forward,
Stetson Coy, fired a shot that missed the goal just above the bar. Coy played 47 minutes tonight and made his 2026 debut.
Coy drew a red card in the 47th minute, and despite being down a man the rest of the match, UT held the Zags scoreless in the second half. The Trailblazers could not generate any offense with the man disadvantage, and fell 3-0.
