The two-day, 54-hole event will be held at storied par-72, 7,124-yard Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Park, which played host to the 2015 United States Open.

The five player lineup for Utah Tech will feature juniors Braden Anderson and Ashton McArthur, sophomore Frank Miao, and freshmen David Liechty and Joe Zhou.

GOING "BIG" IN 2026: This past June 25, Utah Tech announced that it had accepted an invitation to join the Big Sky Conference beginning on July 1, 2026.
Starting in the 2026-27 season, 14 of the Trailblazers' 17 sports, including men's golf, will compete under the Big Sky Conference banner.

HEAD COACH BRAD SUTTERFIELD: Brad Sutterfield (BYU, 1994) is in his 14th season as head coach of the Utah Tech men's golf program. Last season, Sutterfield led the Trailblazers to seven top-eight showings in 10 team events, highlighted by a runner-up finish at last season's Colorado State Ram Masters Invitational (9/17-18/24), and a seventh place showing at the 2025 WAC Championships.
In the 2018-19 campaign, Coach Sutterfield and the Trailblazers enjoyed arguably their most successful season in the program's four-year era, posting six top-five team finishes and 11 total top-10 showings in 12 total team events, highlighted by a wire-to-wire victory at the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Golf South Central/West Regional Championships. Utah Tech also placed ninth-overall at the 2019 NCAA National Championships and recorded a runner-up finish in its debut at the RMAC Championships.
In 2018, Sutterfield led Utah Tech to its third Pacific West Conference team title in four seasons, which earned him his second conference Coach of the Year award. The Trailblazers collected four tournament wins overall that season, along with seven-straight top-three team finishes and nine total top-10s in nine events overall.
Under his direction, the program finished in the top-three overall in the PacWest in six seasons overall, including consecutive PacWest team titles in 2015 and 2016, and a runner-up finish in 2014, for which Sutterfield was named conference Coach of the Year.
Prior to his arrival at Utah Tech, Sutterfield, who played collegiately at BYU, played professional golf for 15 years as a member of the PGA Tour, European Tour, the Web.com Tour, Canadian Tour, Asian Tour and European Challenge Tour.
Coach Sutterfield is joined on his staff by former Utah Tech standout player Spencer Wallace, who is in second season as an assistant coach, along with volunteer coach Marc Briggs.

LAST TIME OUT: Utah Tech posted a 13th-place finish at the 29th Idaho Bandon Dunes Championships, which was played this past March 8-10, at the Pacific Dunes Golf Course in Bandon, Ore.
The Trailblazers got off to a great start, opening with a 5-under 279 to stand in a tie for third place through 18 holes. However the course played a lot tougher during the second round, during which combined to fire a plus-20 304 to fall nine spots to 12th.
Utah Tech improved by five strokes on their final loop, recording a 15-over 299 to finish with a three round team score of plus-30 882.
McArthur paced the Trailblazers with his fourth top-15 showing of the season as he finished in a five-way tie for 13th at minus-2 211.
McArthur fired an opening 2-under 69 in a round that featured one eagle and one birdie. Then after a second round 2-over 73, the junior bounced back with another 69 in a round that included four of his 10 total birdies for the tourney.
Liechty made a little history the opening round as he recorded only the second hole-in-one in the history of the Idaho event with an ace on the par-3 fifth hole. His ace, along with three birdies had him tied for ninth through 18 holes at 3-under 68.
However the freshman, who recorded eight total birdies and two eagles overall, fired a 4-over 75 in round two, and a final round 73 to wind up in solo 34th at plus-3 216.
Zhou fired a matching 68 in round one, thanks in part to five birdies and 12 pars on his opening loop. Zhou (seven total birdies) followed that up with a 75 and a 6-over 77 to in finish in a four-way tie for 51st at plus-7 220.
Anderson (four total birdies) opened with a 2-over 73, but rounds of 81 and 80 moved him to solo 93rdplace at plus-22 235.

TRAILBLAZERS AT A GLANCE: Through seven team events this season, Liechty leads all active players with a 72.13 scoring average with 11 par or better rounds and two top-10 finishes overall, which includes his individual victory at the CSUN Bill Cullum Invite last month.
Meanwhile McArthur is second at 72.22 with 10 par or better rounds out of the 18 loops he has played, followed by Miao in third at 73.27 (six par-or-better rounds), Zhou in fourth at 76.80 (four par-or-better rounds), and Anderson in fifth at 77.56 (two par-or-better rounds).

NEXT UP FOR THE TRAILBLAZERS: Utah Tech will close out the 2025-26 regular season with an appearance at the UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Invitational, which will be played on April 6-7, at Sandpiper Golf Club in Goleta, Calif.
