Jon Judkins announced the signing of Kennesaw State transfer Jusaun Holt to a financial aid agreement ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 season on Wednesday.
A guard hailing from Tacoma, Wash., Holt arrives in St. George with one season of eligibility remaining after starting his career at Alabama in 2021-22 followed by a season at Georgia and the last two seasons at Kennesaw State.
After redshirting the 2024-25 season, Holt last saw action in 18 games as a junior in 2023-24 while making nine starts for the Owls.
Scoring a season-high 19 points against Indiana on Dec. 29, 2023, Holt added nine rebounds, three assists and two steals against the Hoosiers and also scored in double digits against UNC Asheville tallying 11 points and four rebounds.
Holt grabbed a season-best 10 rebounds in a tough one-point loss to Bellarmine and also notched nine boards in a three-point win at home over Florida Gulf Coast.
Prior to his time at Kennesaw State, Holt spent his sophomore season at Georgia in 2022-23 playing in 31 games for the Bulldogs, starting 11 contests, including eight in SEC play.
Holt averaged 3.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 19.5 minutes of action and saw double digit minutes in 28 contests in his lone season in Athens.
He scored a season-high nine points in a two-point win over Auburn to open SEC action and grabbed a season-leading eight rebounds in a win over Florida A&M. He led UGA in steals in nine games and swiped a season-best five steals in a win at home over South Carolina.
Holt got his collegiate career started as a freshman at Alabama in 2021-22 playing in 22 games for the Tide as Alabama advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
He recorded double-figure minutes in four contests, with a season-leading 26 minutes at Ole Miss, and tallied 15 minutes in the SEC Tournament against Vanderbilt.
Against the Rebels, he collected a season-high six rebounds & dished out a season-leading three assists while versus the Commodores, he notched a season-high seven points.
Prepping at St. Francis School, a private prep school in Roswell, Ga., Holt helped lead the Knights to back-to-back Georgia Class A Private state titles in 2019 and 2020.
Tabbed a Top 100 prospect in the Class of 2021 by by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com, Holt helped the Knights win 100 games in his four seasons of varsity play and was named Georgia's Class A Private Player of the Year by both the Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) as a senior in 2021.
In addition, Holt was a two-time All-State honoree earning consensus first team honors as a senior after garnering second team and honorable mention honors as a junior.
Overall in his high school career, Holt totaled 1,204 points, grabbed 674 rebounds, dished out 257 assists and nabbed 143 steals in 93 contests and averaged 21.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.4 steals per game as a senior.
Holt becomes the sixth newest addition to the Trailblazers 2025-26 roster joining spring signees Chance Trujillo (Kaysville, Utah/Snow College), Boston Harker (Alberta, Canada/Garden City CC (Kan.), Noah Bolanga (Poitiers, France/St. Bonaventure) & Ethan Potter (Layton, Utah/Utah Valley) along with fall 2023 signee Tanner Davis, who returns after a mission.
