Utah Tech swimmers combined to break two school records and posted seven all-time program marks on day two of the 2025 Western Athletic Conference Women's Swimming Championships on Thursday at the CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas.

Through the first two days of competition, the Trailblazers stand in eighth place with 94 points, 24 points ahead of ninth place UTRGV (70 pts). Northern Arizona is in the lead with 303 points, followed by New Mexico State (238 pts) in second and California Baptist (210 pts) in third. 
 
The first school record fell in the morning preliminary heats when Cera Mallory clocked a 4:55.15 in the 500-yard freestyle, which qualified her for the "A" final. Mallory would go on to place sixth-overall in the final with a time of 4:55.76, which was the third-fastest time in program history.
 
Utah Tech's second school standard fell in the 200 free relay when the team of Mandy Farnum, Natalia Zmierczak, Sorina Rom and Gabby Henry combined for an eighth-place time of 1:33.37. Farnum got the team off to a great start with 23.69 opening leg, which turned out to be the 10^th-fastest 50 free time in school history. 
 
Later in the evening session, Grace Benson placed second in the "C" final of the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.45 (#3 all-time at Utah Tech), while Henry came back to place eighth in the 50 free "A" final with a season-best time of 23.46 (#5 all-time at Utah Tech). Henry also clocked a 23.54 in the 50 free prelim round, which was the seventh-fastest time in program history. 
 
Day three of the WAC Championships will get underway on Friday at 9:30 a.m. (MT), with the preliminary heats in the 400-yard IM and 100 butterfly. The final races for the day will start at 5 p.m. (MT).
