Ethan Potter was named the WAC Player of the Week on Monday afternoon, the conference office announced.
Potter is coming off his fifth 20-point performance of the season on Saturday night at Weber State after tallying a team-high 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field and made the game-winning layup in the final seconds of a thrilling 82-80 win over the Wildcats.
In addition, the Utah Valley transfer grabbed a team-leading eight rebounds, dished out a pair of assists & added a block in 36 minutes of action.
This is Potter's second weekly WAC award of the season after also being named WAC Player of the Week on Dec. 1.
The Trailblazers close out non-conference action at Creighton (7-5) tonight at 6 p.m. MT at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
