(St. George, Utah - Dec. 2, 2025) - The 2026 Utah Tech softball schedule was announced by head coach Randy Simkins on Tuesday as the Trailblazers are set to play 50 games across the regular season with 21 set for Karl Brooks Field in St. George.

After finishing ninth in the WAC regular season last season, the Trailblazers get the 2026 season underway at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament on Feb. 6-8 facing Oregon State, Long Beach State, UC Riverside, Loyola Marymount and UC Santa Barbara.

The Trailblazers remain in California the next weekend for the San Diego Tournament getting action started with a doubleheader at UC San Diego at Feb. 12 followed by a pair of games on Feb. 13 against Omaha and Colorado State and the tournament closes out against Weber State on Valentine's Day.

Utah Tech opens the home slate hosting the Lyman Classic Tournament with a pair of games each day against UC Davis & CSU Bakersfield on Feb. 20 & Feb. 21 with the tournament wrapping up on Feb. 22 vs. Weber State.

The following weekend the Trailblazers host the Beehive Challenge taking on Weber State (Feb. 26 & Feb. 28), Utah (Feb. 27) and Utah State (March 1) and will also see Utah Valley and Southern Utah play contests that weekend.

The month on March opens up at the UNLV Tournament on March 6-8 facing the host Rebels along with a pair of contests against both Loyola Marymount & North Dakota State.

The sixth and final non-conference weekend sees Utah Tech host the Trailblazer Classic facing BYU and Omaha on March 13 and wrap up tournament action against Omaha on March 14.

After traveling to UNLV for a contest on March 17, the Trailblazers open WAC action at Utah Valley on March 20-21 and they close out the month of March hosting Southern Utah on March 27-28.

Hitting the road for the next seven contests, UT travels to California Baptist on April 3-4 then heads to San Diego on April 6, CSU Bakersfield on April 7 and close out the road swing at BYU on April 14.

The final three WAC series see the Trailblazers host UT Arlington (April 17-18), travel to Tarleton State (April 24-25) and close out the season at home against Abilene Christian on May 1-2.

The 2026 WAC Tournament is set for May 6-9 hosted by Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas at the Tarleton Softball Complex.

Utah Tech is coming off a 15-35 overall mark in 2025 while finishing 6-18 in the WAC.

The Trailblazers bring back 17 returners, including seven seniors, while welcoming six freshmen to the team this season.
