Four Trailblazers Tabbed College Sports Communicators Academic All-District

(Greenwood, Ind. - Dec. 16, 2025) - Four Trailblazer volleyball student-athletes earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

In order to qualify for the award, student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA while competing in at least 90 percent of sets or starting at least 66 percent of matches.

Senior middle blocker Taylor Snow, junior setter Marley Roe, junior libero Mya Laufiso and redshirt sophomore opposite hitter Nana Asiata each earned this honor for their performance on and off the court this season.

Starting all 27 matches and playing in 96 sets, Snow earned Second Team All-WAC honors finishing fifth in the conference in blocks per set (1.33) and 10th in hitting percentage (.256).

Snow set a season high with 16 kills in a five-set thrilling win at California Baptist on Nov. 8 and holds a 3.5 GPA in Criminal Justice.

Roe started all 27 matches and all 98 sets this season and finished fifth in the WAC in assists per set (5.83).

Leading the Trailblazers in assists in 25 matches this season, Roe posts a 3.72 GPA in Hotel and Resort Management Major.

Laufiso also started all 27 matches and played in all 98 sets finishing third in the WAC in assists per set (3.91) and fourth in assists (383).

Notching a career-high 28 digs against Air Force on Sept. 20, Laufiso led the Trailblazers in digs in 20 matches and has a 3.56 GPA as a Communication Studies major.

Finally, Asiata played in 92 sets and 26 matches this season and ranked second on the team in kills per set (1.99) & fourth in blocks (63.0).

Asiata registered a season-high 19 kills in a pair of matches in back-to-back matches against Abilene Christian and Utah Valley and had a season-leading six blocks at UNLV & against Idaho State.

Asiata tallied a 3.73 GPA in Recreation and Sports Management.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
