Utah Tech head women's swimming coach Shawn King has announced the Trailblazers' 2024-25 meet schedule. The Trailblazers will compete in eight regular meets, three of which will be held at the Utah Tech HPC Pool.
The Blazers open the fall portion of their campaign in sunny SoCal for the two-day Pepperdine Rodionoff Invitational in Malibu on Oct. 4-5. Then after holding three days of intrasquad time trials at the HPC pool (Oct. 31-Nov. 2), Utah Tech will host its Fourth-Annual Trailblazer Invitational on Nov. 21-23.
Utah Tech will close out the fall slate with a pair of December meets, starting with a two-day WAC dual at Northern Arizona in Flagstaff on Dec. 6-7, before hosting New Mexico State in a dual on Thursday, Dec. 19.
Utah Tech begins the second half of its competition schedule with a quick two-meet trip to the Northwest, which starts with a dual at Washington State on Friday, Jan. 17. The Trailblazers will then make the short drive across the border to Moscow for a WAC dual at Idaho on Saturday, Jan. 18.
The Blazers return home for their final home dual on the season, a two-day rematch vs. NAU on Jan. 24-25, before closing the regular season at the UNLV First Chance Invitational on Friday, Feb. 14.
Utah Tech will then gear up to compete at the 2025 WAC Women's Swimming Championships, which will be held Feb. 26-March 1, at the CRWC Natatorium in Houston, Texas.
With Utah Tech now eligible for NCAA postseason competition, the Trailblazers will also look to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming Championships, which will take place on March 19-22, in Federal Way, Wash.
Utah Tech wrapped up its fourth NCAA Division I season with two dual meet victories and a seventh-place finish at the 2024 WAC Championships.
