(Richardson, Texas - April 2, 2024) - The Trailblazers defeated UT Dallas, 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon at the UTD Tennis Courts.

Earning a sweep at doubles, Utah Tech (6-12) claimed the first point after winning all three matches highlighted by a 6-0 sweep at number three doubles by Adithi Venkatakrishnan and Olivia Bustos.

The Trailblazers continued their strong play in singles winning five of the six matches. Leading the way was Venkatakrishnan at number one singles with a 6-0, 6-4 win.

Mariana Zurita, Rachel Mellor, Raquel Roshak and Bustos rounded out the singles winners for Utah Tech, who now have its most wins in a season since moving to Division I in 2021.

The Trailblazers wrap up their road swing in Texas on Wednesday at UT Arlington (12-6, 2-2 WAC) at 1 p.m.
