(Ogden, Utah – Feb. 9, 2024) - The Trailblazer tennis team returned to the court on Friday afternoon falling 6-1 to Weber State at the Ogden Athletic Club.

"The adjustment to indoors was tough and we came out a little slow in the doubles, but picked it up in singles play," said head coach Eric Pelton.

The Blazers earned a win at number six singles by freshman Kylie Kezos defeating Jessica Hill, 6-0, 6-3 for her second singles win of the season.

"Ana at number one singles had a hard-fought match and really played well against a very strong player, but came up a few points short. As a freshman, she is competing against all the best players and really holding her own and doing well! It is exciting to see!," added Pelton.

The Trailblazers return to the court in Ogden on Saturday taking on Idaho State (3-3) at noon.
