(Ogden, Utah – Feb. 10, 2024) - The Trailblazers fought tough on Saturday afternoon falling 7-0 to Idaho State at the Ogden Athletic Club.

Utah Tech did earn a win at number three doubles with Ya-Chi Hsu and Adithi Venkatakrishnan coming out on top, 7-5, but the Trailblazers fell at number one and two doubles to narrowly miss winning the doubles point. 

Rachel Mellor and Mariana Zurita battled the Bengals' top doubles team to a seventh point, but fell 7-4 in the tiebreaker.

In singles action, Mellor and Kylie Kezos battled at number five and six singles, but came up short.

The Trailblazers are back on the court next weekend in Arizona taking on Arizona Christian on Saturday, Mesa Community College on Sunday and Ottawa University on Monday.
