For their outstanding performances on the pitch this season, the WAC honored three Trailblazers in its 2024 WAC Men's Soccer Awards. Senior Damian Arguello and sophomore Samir Cuevas were selected to the All-WAC Second Team and freshman Tanner Dutra earned a spot on the WAC All-Freshman Team.

Arguello finished the regular season with 15 shots, eight on goal, and a goal that secured a draw for UT with Cal Poly. He totaled 887 minutes on 12 starts and 13 appearances along with five yellow cards. The veteran leader hails from Caldwell, Idaho. 

Cuevas followed up his All-WAC Freshman Team selection last season with second team honors this time around. The native of Valera, Venezuela, led the Trailblazers with four goals and eight points. He also tallied 19 shots, 10 on goal, and one game-winning goal against UNLV to seal UT's spot in the WAC Tournament. 

After redshirting last year, Dutra started all 17 matches this season, tying for a team-best 1,530 minutes played. The defender/midfielder helped the Trailblazers shutout San José State and Grand Canyon and tied the match against UNLV with his first career goal on a header off a corner kick.

Utah Tech opens the WAC Tournament by facing No. 3 seed California Baptist on Sunday, Nov. 10. The match gets underway at 7 p.m. at GCU Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona, and will be streamed on ESPN+.
