(Colfax, Wash. - Nov. 15, 2024) - The Trailblazer cross country teams closed out the season on Friday afternoon competing at the NCAA West Regional hosted at the Colfax Golf Club.

The women got the afternoon of action started racing in the 6K being led Lexi Larsen.

The junior from Draper, Utah finished 122nd overall clocking a time of 21:49.2. Sophomore Averie Perriton was next Trailblazer finisher coming in 190th registering a time of 22:26.6.

The other finishers on the women's side were Adri Bird (202nd, 22:40.4), Isabela Coffman (221st, 22:57.1), Kinley Spaulding (226th, 23:10.3) and Charly Murie (233rd, 23:20.8).

The women finished 32nd overall as a team scoring 951 points with Oregon and Stanford claiming the two automatic berths to the NCAA Champioships scoring 43 points and 67 points, respectively.

On the men's side, three Trailblazers notched top 10 program 10K times. Led by Ryan Hatch, the sophomore finished 65th overall in a program record time of 30:40 besting the previous record by a minute (Hunter Chamberlain, 31:40, 2017).

Sophomore Kyle Neuenschwander made it a pair of Trailblazers in the top 100 coming in 95th with a time of 31:17.6 for the second-fastest 10K in program history.

The remainder of the men's finishers placed from 162nd through 188th led by Dawson Leffler (32:55.1, 162nd), Noah Orton (32:58.4, 165th), Aiden Hardy (33:24.1, 181st) and Collin Manning (33:42.7, 188th).

The men came in 22nd overall as a team scoring 659 points. Washington (66) and Oregon (68) claimed the top two automatic berths on the men's side.
