HOME SWEET HOME
Utah Tech hosts its last two home WAC games in the first two weeks of October, starting with Sunday's contest with Seattle U and concluding on Saturday, Oct. 12, when California Baptist visits St. George. Following the homestand, the Trailblazers will finish the regular season with three road conference games.

LAST TIME OUT
After going down 3-0 in the 68th minute, Utah Tech got on the board in the 77th minute when freshman Lataya Brost beat graduate goalkeeper CJ Graham for UT's first goal of the night. The Wolverines answered less than five minutes later on a header, but the Trailblazers continued to battle. Junior Lacy Fox notched her sixth goal of the season with Brost picking up her third point of the night on a helper in the 83rd minute, then Brost scored a brace four minutes later as she hit a long shot to get past Graham after junior Cadie Young disrupted a Wolverine clear. Utah Valley outshot UT 19-11 with an advantage of 9-7 in shots on goal. Trailblazer keeper Brianna Frey totaled five saves, one more than Graham. Offensively, Brost led Utah Tech with five points on her two goals and lone assist. Brost also led the Trailblazers with four shots and three shots on goal.

SCOUTING SEATTLE U
Seattle U will challenge the Trailblazers after drawing 0-0 with Southern Utah in Cedar City on Thursday. The Redhawks hold a 6-2-4 record after opening WAC play with a 3-1 win at Abilene Christian. Seattle U also has wins over Idaho, UNLV, Fresno State, Hawai'i and Oregon State this season.

Entering the weekend, the Redhawks lead the conference in won-lost-tied percentage (.682). Seattle U also ranks second in the WAC in goal differential (+10), points per game (5.18), scoring offense (1.82), shot accuracy (.500) and shots on goal per game (7.45), while coming in at third in goals-against average (.909), save percentage (.821), total assists (17), total goals (20) and total points (57).

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's match will be the seventh all-time meeting between Utah Tech and Seattle U, with the Redhawks holding a 3-1-2 advantage. In St. George, the Trailblazers are undefeated, 1-0-0.

TRY TO GET PAST FREY
Entering the week, junior Brianna Frey is leading the WAC in saves per game (5.60), which ranks 28th in the nation. Frey is also second in the conference in total saves (56), which is tied for 36th in the country. With a save percentage of .812, Frey is fourth in the WAC and 83rd in the nation. Frey has also posted two shutouts this season and has four in her career, which ties her for ninth all-time in career shutouts at Utah Tech.

'FOX,' NO PRINTER
Junior Lacy Fox is tied for the best penalty-kick percentage in the nation, converting PKs against UNLV and at Idaho for a perfect 100% rate this season. Fox is third in the WAC in total goals (6), which ranks 112th in the nation. Fox was also tied for third in total points (13) in the conference entering the weekend.

The new signing class in St. George includes Gonzaga transfer Kyah Le, Colorado Northwestern Community College transfer Cadie Young, Utah State transfer Heidi Wilstead, and nine true freshmen. The class includes four midfielders (Le and Young along with Bre Koscielski and Jenna McDonnell), three forwards (Wilstead along with Emily Blanchard and Ella Cotter), four defenders (Ali Warner, Lexi Nelson, Adele Faller, Allison Flies), and one goalkeeper (Emma McIff).
