Two in-season tournaments and 12 regular season home matches highlight the 2023 Utah Tech women's volleyball schedule, which was officially announced on Thursday.
 
Utah Tech opens its fourth season of NCAA Division I play inside the Burns Arena with its annual Trailblazer Alumni match on Friday night, August 18 at 6 p.m. Admission to the Alumni match is free and open to the public. 
 
The Trailblazers will formally begin the campaign with consecutive in-season tournaments, starting with a three-match slate at the Weber State Wildcat Invitational played in Ogden, Utah on August 25-26. Utah Tech will square off against host Weber State and Saint Mary's on day one, followed by a match-up vs. Manhattan on day two. 
 
Utah Tech will follow that up one weekend later with three matches at the New Mexico Lobo Invitational in Albuquerque on Sept. 1-2. UT will play neutral court matches vs. St. John's and CSU Bakersfield during the first day of the tournament, before taking on the host Lobos the next day to close out tourney play.
 
The Blazers then return home for a six-match homestand, which starts with back-to-back matches vs. Fresno State on Friday, Sept. 8, and Saturday, Sept. 9. Utah Tech will wrap up its non-conference schedule at home vs. Idaho on Friday, Sept. 15, and Marshall on Saturday, Sept. 16. In addition, Idaho and Marshall will play a neutral court match inside the Burns Arena to begin the round-robin event on Sept. 15. 

Utah Tech will start its fourth season of Western Athletic Conference play one week later with home matches against both California Baptist (Sept. 21) and Grand Canyon (Sept. 23). 
 
From there, the Trailblazers will play three of their next four conference matches in the "Lone Star State," beginning with a road date at defending WAC regular season champion UTRGV on Saturday, Sept. 30.
 
Utah Tech will return home to take on in-state rival Southern Utah on Monday, Oct. 2, before traveling back to Texas for road games at Tarleton (Oct. 5) and at Abilene Christian (Oct. 7). 
 
Utah Tech will open a four-match homestand one week later, starting with an "Old Hammer Rivalry" showdown vs. Utah Valley (Oct. 12), which will be followed by home dates against Seattle U (Oct. 14), defending WAC tournament champ Stephen F. Austin (Oct. 19) and UT Arlington (Oct. 21).
 
The Trailblazers will close out the regular season by playing five of their final six matches on the road, starting with return matches at GCU (Oct. 26) and at CBU (Oct. 28). 
 
Utah Tech will wrap up its 2023 home slate with a Nov. 2 date vs. UTRGV, before putting a bow on the regular season with road matches at SUU (Nov. 6), at Seattle U (Nov. 9) and at UVU (Nov. 11). 
 
The 2023 WAC Women's Volleyball Tournament, hosted by Utah Valley, will take place Nov. 16-18 in Orem.
