He led the SWAC in 3-point percentage (45-of-101, .446) and finished the year as the conference's third-leading scorer at 15.5 ppg.
The sophomore-to-be also ranked in the conference's top-15 in free throw percentage (5

Wright poured in 20 or more points 10 times, highlighted by consecutive 27-point nights in home wins over Community Christian (113-75; 1/8/22) and Southern Nevada (86-72, 1/13/22), and helped lead Snow to a 26-8 overall record and a No. 12 ranking in the final NJCAA Division I poll.
Â
"Hagen is great shooter and his ability to space the floor as a shooter and to attack the rim with his athleticism will help us to continue to improve and become a more complete team," Judkins noted. "He plays with a high motor and rebounds very well at his position. Besides being a great player and excellent student, he is an even better person and we are grateful to have Hagen and his great wife Addi join our program."
Â
Wright prepped at Payson High School, where he garnered 2018
Salt Lake Tribune Utah 4A second team all-state honors as a senior after averaging 18.4 points and 3.5 rebounds, and helped lead the Lions to state quarterfinal appearance.
Â
Dixie State wrapped up its second season of NCAA Division I play with a 13-18 overall record, five wins more than the Blazers' posted in their D-I debut campaign last year. DSU finished with a 10-6 record inside the Burns Arena, and wound up 6-12 in WAC play, which was good for 10
th place in the conference standings.
Hagen Wright on why he chose Dixie State: "I chose Dixie State because IÂ was looking for a place that would feel family centered and that I could fit in well with the coaches and the program. As soon as I visited campus and saw what it was all about, I instantly felt like this was the place for me."
