Utah Tech women's soccer keeps the unbeaten streak alive with a 1-0 win over Sam Houston State on Friday night.
WHAT HEAD COACH MOLLY ROUSE SAID: "This evenings match was an excellent example of the grind our conference calls for. SHSU was well organized and produced several solid attacking opportunities. We knew heading into this match we would need to capitalize on our chances while making big defensive plays. At this pivotal point in the season, each game will require toughness and performance focus. Heading into this weekend, we were aware of the physical demands and we prepared mentally for how hard earning a result would be. Again, our preparation, team chemistry and depth is giving us a chance to remain competitive for long stretches of time. We look forward to another tough team performance on Sunday against top seeded NMSU."
