Dixie State women's basketball surged in the second half to propel the Trailblazers to a 75-69 victory over Seattle U on Saturday afternoon.
Clutch Moments:
The first half was slow rolling for Dixie State as they trailed by nine points. The third quarter was big for DSU as they outscored Seattle U 26-10 thanks in large part to a 12-2 run and later an 8-2 run. Brooke Vance sank three made three pointers in the third quarter.

Leaders: Dixie State was led by Davison who scored 20 points, seven assists, and the shared team high of three steals. There were three other Blazers in double figures with Gillen raking up 18 points, Warren with 14 and Vance tied her career high with 12 points.
Isaacson led DSU with nine boards on the afternoon. However, Gillen and Vance each pulled down six.
Comparison: Dixie State ended the game shooting 49 percent from the field, 35 percent from the three and 84 percent from the free throw line. The Trailblazers totaled 39 rebounds, 13 assists, nine steals and 20 turnovers.
Seattle U shot 42 percent from the field, 26 percent from the three and 60 percent from the free throw line. The Redhawks ended the game with 33 rebounds, 12 assists, 13 turnovers and nine steals.
Notes to Know: DSU is now 6-9 overall on the season and 2-2 in WAC play. Dixie State is now on a one game winning streak.
In the first half, DSU had just three assists and ignited in the second half for 10 assists to end the game with 13.
