Finlinson (6-6) played three seasons for the Flyers and helped lead them to the 2020 Utah 4A state title. A two-time Region 9 MVP and first team all-state selection, Finlinson earned 2021 Deseret News First Team All-State this past season after he averaged 21.7 points, 7.3 rebounds 4.2 assists and 2.0 steals a game.

The prep guard scored in double figures in all 21 games last season with 12 20-plus point outings, highlighted by a season-high 34 points in the Flyers' 4A playoff loss to Ridgeline HS (3/1). In that game, Finlinson hit a season-best six three-pointers and finished the year with 36 made treys.

In addition, Finlinson posted a triple-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 70-45 home win over Desert Hills HS (1/22). Finlinson wrapped up his three-year prep career with 1,081 points with 118 made three-pointers, along with 267 career rebounds, 160 assists and 72 steals.

"Isaac is a winner, he had very successful run at Dixie High where he was an all-state and region MVP pick in the ultra-competitive Region 9," Coach Judkins said. "His toughness and ability to score coupled with his length and athleticism makes him a great college prospect. He's a competitor that is committed to continually improving his game we feel that his character and local ties will be a great fit for our culture at Dixie State."

Why Isaac Finlinson chose Dixie State - "I chose Dixie State because of how much interest they showed in me and my potential. They have a winning culture here and I want to be a part of it."
