The Dixie State women's tennis team dropped their match to the University of Utah Friday afternoon, falling 7-0 in Salt Lake City.
Utah began the day off strong by sweeping the three doubles matches. The Utes started singles play right where they left off by claiming wins in the No. 2 through No. 5 spots. Later in singles action, in the No. 1 spot
Kyra Harames dropped a 3-6 decision in the first set but fought to a 6-3 win in the second. Harames then played to a 3-10 loss in a tiebreaker to close out her day. To end singles play,
Juliana Honczaruk dropped both of her sets in the 6 spot to close the day out for the Trailblazers. Â
Dixie State is 0-6 thus far into their 2021 season. The Trailblazers will be back in action Sunday in Salt Lake City, where they will face off against Boise State at 9 a.m. DSU is scheduled to host Grand Canyon University on March 19 for their first home match of the year.
