Dixie State women's basketball took on #10 University of Oregon Sunday evening and fell 85-34.
How it Happened: Dixie State started the game out slow as Oregon jumped to a 27-8 lead at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter proved to be the best for DSU as they held the Ducks to just 13 points while scoring 11.
At the half, Dixie State trailed 40-19.
To start the second half DSU went on a 7-2 run but Oregon answered with a 10-0 run. As the third quarter ended, the Trailblazers trailed 65-31.
The Blazers struggled in the fourth quarter only scoring four points and the Ducks came away with an 84-35 win over Dixie State.

Emily Isaacson who had 11 points on the night.
Breaunna Gillen was right behind that with nine on the night. Gillen also led on the boards for DSU with 11 on the night.
Comparison: Dixie State ended the night shooting 27 percent from the field, 23 percent from beyond the arc and 50 percent from the free throw line. DSU ended with 30 rebounds, nine assists, and 21 turnovers.
Oregon ended the game shooting 45% from the field, 25% from the three and 54% from the line. The Ducks totaled 48 rebounds, 27 assists, and three turnovers.
Notes to Know: DSU is now 1-2 overall on the season.
