Trailblazer Tennis falls at MSU Denver Saturday, 4-3

The Dixie State women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to MSU Denver on Saturday in its Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference finale in Denver.
 
The Trailblazers (10-3, 2-1 RMAC) earned the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead to singles play. Yolena Carlon and Isabel Heras posted a 6-2 win at No. 1, while Hattie Erekson and Juliana Honczaruk earned a 6-3 victory at No. 3.
 
The Roadrunners seized control of the match during singles play, winning four of the six singles contests to claim the win. Megan Lynch earned a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at No. 4, while Harames claimed the other DSU point at No. 2.
 
Dixie State returns to the Trailblazer Tennis courts to host Idaho State in an exhibition match on Friday and Portland State on Saturday.
