Live coverage is scheduled on television (CEC-TV – TDS Cable Channel 108), radio (Radio Dixie 91.3 FM), and online on the DSU Stretch Internet Portal (portal.stretchinternet.com/dixiestate), with Keric Seegmiller providing play-by-play and Drayson Ball offering analysis and color commentary.

SENIOR DAY: Saturday's game will serve as the team's annual Senior Day, as 11 seniors will participate in their final home game, including Kasey Allison, J.T. Anderson, Dejuan Dantzler, Dylan Douglass, Chris Grasso, Sei-J Lauago, Alex Lilliard, Brennin Miller, Joshua Partida, Aaron Simpson, and Xavier Smith.

ALL-TIME VS. ADAMS STATE: Saturday's game marks the 10th meeting between Dixie State and Adams State. The Grizzlies earned a 37-7 victory in the inaugural matchup between the two teams on Sept. 2, 2006, in Alamosa. DSU answered with a 24-16 victory on Sept. 1, 2007, and a 37-28 victory on Aug. 27, 2009, both at home, for its first two wins of the series. Adams State responded with a three-game win streak from 2010 to 2012.  Since then, the Trailblazers have won the last three matchups, including a 52-10 win in Alamosa last season. DSU holds a 5-4 advantage in the series, including a 3-1 mark at Trailblazer Stadium.

KNOW YOUR FOE: Adams State enters the weekend with a 4-6 overall record and a 4-5 mark in RMAC play. The Grizzlies own victories over New Mexico Highlands, Black Hills State, Western Colorado, and South Dakota Mines.
ASU averages 418.9 yards of total offense and 24.9 points per game, and does most of its damage through the air. Quarterback John Buksa ranks second in the RMAC with 2,479 yards and 20 touchdowns on 179 completions. His favorite targets include Tariq Bitson (63 rec/1,355 yards/11 TD), Ziere Banner (45 rec/581 yards/6 TD), and Ian Fryday (22 rec/309 yards/4 TD).

Defensively, the Grizzlies allow 385.7 yards of total offense and 36.0 points per game. Defensive lineman Alani Pututau leads the team with 59 tackles and leads the RMAC with 20.5 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks. Six different ASU players have recorded an interception.

MAKING THE GRADE: Senior defensive back Alex Lilliard (3.30 Recreation and Sport Management) was named to the RMAC Academic First Team. Six others were named to the RMAC Honor Roll, including seniors Dylan Douglass (3.31 GPA, Criminal Justice), Sei-J Lauago (3.37 GPA, Criminal Justice), and Joshua Partida (3.44 GPA, Criminal Justice), and sophomores Augustus Fraser (3.34 GPA, Nursing), Gage Manzione (3.65 GPA, Exercise Science), and Kyle Whitesides (3.49 GPA, Social Science Composite Teaching).

LAST TIME OUT: The Trailblazers dropped a hard-fought 35-27 decision to No. 8 Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.

RECEPTION RULER: Dejuan Dantzler became the DSU career receiving yards leader on Saturday, catching 10 passes for 234 yards and one touchdown. The feat pushed him atop the list and moved his career total to 2,049 yards, only the second DSU receiver in the NCAA Division II era to surpass the 2,000 yard mark. Dantzler also holds the DSU single-game receiving yards record.

SPLITTING THE UPRIGHTS: After breaking the  DSU single-season point-after-touchdown record against Colorado Mesa, James Baird also broke the single-season field goals record with two successful attempts at Colorado School of Mines. Baird has now connected on 10-of-11 attempts, landing him atop the RMAC field-goal percentage list (minimum 10 attempts).

MAKING HISTORY: Sei-J Lauago became the DSU career rushing touchdowns leader when he broke free for an 81-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter against Colorado Mesa. The run, his 18th career rushing touchdown, pushed him past Dejon Coleman atop the list. Lauago, who has rushed for 2,338 career yards, is also the DSU career rushing yards leader.

Aaron Simpson became the DSU single-season and career interception return yards leader on September 28, snagging two more interceptions to go with 56 return yards to push his season total to 138 yards. Simpson is also the DSU single-game interception return yards leader after racking up 82 return yards at New Mexico Highlands on September 21.

The Trailblazers' 55-0 victory over NMHU on September 21 marked the first complete shutout in DSU's 14-year NCAA era. The victory also set a new Trailblazer mark for the largest margin of victory, breaking the previous margin of 42 points against Adams State last year.

The Trailblazers' 23-14 win over Fort Lewis on September 14 marked DSU's first win in a road-opener since joining the NCAA Division II ranks in 2006.

A record-setting 6,512 fans packed Trailblazer Stadium on September 7 to watch DSU take on CSU-Pueblo. The mark snapped the previous single-game attendance record of 5,498 set last year against Fort Lewis.
