Biography

At Dixie State 2019 (Sophomore): Started in six of 10 games played ... helped anchor a Trailblazer offensive line that helped Dixie State rack up over 5,000 yards of total offense (5,008 – 455.3 yards per game), which included 3,378 yards (307.1 ypg) through the air and another 1,630 yards (148.2 ypg) on the ground.

At Dixie State 2018 (Freshman): Appeared in five games and made two starts.    

At El Toro High School: Three-year varsity starter … All-Sea View League selection … named team captain … received Jeff Stenstrom Memorial award … three-time Torch Award Winner (3.5 GPA) … also letttered in wrestling and track and field  … graduated in June 2018.

Personal: Born in Newport Beach, California … parents are Wayne and Sheri Whitesides ... father Wayne played college football at Idaho ... also recruited by Utah State, San Jose State, UC Davis, San Diego, Azusa Pacific and Indiana Wesleyan ... favorite team is the Green Bay Packers ... favorite athlete is Terry Bradshaw ... currently majoring in secondary education.

Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because I loved the location and the program. I saw myself as a great fit as an offensive lineman here. I’m also as an active outdoorsman and I knew Dixie State was the place for me.”
