Dixie State opened the final week of the 2016 regular season on a high note as the Trailblazers stopped a three-match losing skid with a straight-set sweep of BYU-Hawaii in the final meeting between the two sides Monday night at the DSU Student Activities Center. DSU then went on to outscore the Seasiders 10-4 the rest of the way to claim the opening frame 25-19. Dixie State led wire-to-wire in the second stanza en route to a 25-19 set win, and used a decisive 13-4 run to close out the final frame (25-14) to secure the sweep.
