Dixie State picked up its second-straight sweep on its three-game Bay Area road swing as the Trailblazers breezed to a straight-set win (25-19, 25-22, 25-19) at Academy of Art Saturday afternoon in San Francisco. With the win, the Trailblazers improved to 14-8 overall, 10-4 in Pacific West Conference play.

Delayne Daniel (Pleasant Grove, Utah/Pleaseant Grove HS) led the Trailblazers with game-highs of 12 kills and 15 digs en route to her 10th-straight and team-high 14
th double-double of the year. Sophomore OH
Taylor Duryea (Logan, Utah/Sky View HS) chipped in 10 kills with five digs and two services aces, and senior setter
Kailey Frei (Orem, Utah/Timpanogos HS) posted her fourth double-double of the year with 34 assists and 10 digs. DSU hit .282 for the match, including a .364 clip in set one and .308 in the decisive third set, while the Trailblazer defense used 58 digs and six total blocks to hold AAU (6-15/4-8 PacWest) to a .185 hitting percentage.
Dixie State concludes its road trip on Halloween Monday night with a PacWest match at Fresno Pacific.
