ST. GEORGE – On a cool and rainy Saturday morning at Hansen Stadium, Dixie State could not overcome an early two-goal deficit dropping a 2-1 decision to Academy of Art in Pacific West Conference play. Sophomore forward
Sean Jenne (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial) tallied his third goal of the year just prior to halftime.

Dixie State fell to 1-12-2 on the year despite having a 12-10 shot advantage over the visiting Urban Knights (6-10/4-6).

ART U capitalized on a pair of first half goals from Kristof Urbanyi. His first came rocketed from nearly 40 yards out, skipping past Dixie State goalkeeper
Eddie Ortiz (Las Vegas, NV/Cimarron). Urbanyi's second score came in the 40
th minute as he wove through the Storm defense and shot just under the crossbar.

Dixie State threatened multiple times in the second half. Jenne hit the post and missed high on successive shots in the 83
rd and 85
th minutes. The last chance came from
Santiago Alejandro (Oakley, CA/Alhambra), but his shot was saved to ensure the 2-1 final.

Ortiz made five saves for the match.
Jara Eshete (Stansbury, UT/Stansbury) led all Dixie State players with four shots followed with Jenne's three.
