First year head coach Catherria Turner will have the ladies prepared to meet the challenge of playing three games in six days. DSU has a 2-5 overall record and a 1-2 Pacific West Conference mark just seven games into the season and will try and create some momentum as they head into the Christmas Holiday. 5-8 senior guard Haley Holmstead (American Fork, UT/American Fork) leads the team in scoring at 24.9 ppg, including 44.4 percent from the field. A nice surprise to the squad recently has been the play of 6-0 junior center Haleigh Emerine.
