Elimelech scores, Shallenberger red carded in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. – Nadav Elimelech (Las Vegas, NV/Spring Valley) scored his first career NCAA goal, but the Dixie State men's soccer team dropped its Pacific West Conference match at Holy Names, 3-1.
 
Elimelech scored in the second minute off an Erik Shallenberger (Las Vegas, NV/Arbor View) assist. The lead held until the 28th minute on a David Norton unassisted goal.
 
HNU took the lead late in the first half and added insurance in the 86th minute.
 
Dixie State played a man down from the 71st minute on when Shallenberger received a red card.
 
HNU outshot Dixie State for the match 21-10. Tyler Walters (Ogden, UT/Ben Lomand) made five saves in goal.
 
The Red Storm are back on the pitch Monday against Academy of Art in San Francisco.
